Light those candles! The Mountain Enterprise is entering its 48th year of continuous service to the Mountain Communities this week, making it among the businesses with the longest continuous service to the Mountain Communities.

This community newspaper was founded in 1966. It has been an independent voice steadily reporting mountain news ever since. In recent years The Mountain Enterprise has won state and national awards for journalistic excellence and public service.
