This is a letter to the many people I’ve come to know in the Mountain Community.

It is with mixed emotions that I am leaving the mountain. I love this community and all the wonderful people here.

This is a hard decision. There are so many things and people I will miss.

I have enjoyed working at the newspaper and serving the community. I’m retiring from the newspaper to spend more time with my family and four grandchildren in the San Fernando Valley area.

I have decided to move off the hill. I will be babysitting for my infant granddaughter and want to be a full-time grandmother.

I wish the community success in all its future endeavors and wish each and every one of you the best.
