The bear incidents on November 4 in the Pine Mountain community are very interesting. The bears appeared to have no fear of humans or dogs. People really need to be aware that bears are trying to fatten up right now before they go into hibernation, so food products, pet food and trash needs to be properly secured. These bears were a mother and cub, which could obviously pose a danger to someone who comes across them by surprise.
