Hollywood glamour, glitz and star-power are the themes you’ll find mesmerizing in the ‘Before Paparazzi’ photo exhibit and storytelling session by NBC-TV staff photographer Gerald “Jerry” K. Smith 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Dec. 7.

Celebrities Smith worked with include Bob Hope, John Wayne, Jayne Mansfield, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe. He was on staff with NBC from the 1950s through 1967, traveling with Bob Hope’s USO tour and shooting behind-the-scenes photos of many television shows.

The informal talk will feature Smith’s stories of the rich and famous and your questions, plus refreshments.

All this at the Frazier Park Library. Come for the fun.
