Two seats on the Board of Directors of Lebec County Water District will be on the ballot November 5.

The two seats are currently held by Julie McWhorter and Tony Venegas.

Mr. Venegas filled the seat vacated by Delbert Clowes when he resigned in 2012.

The terms of the two seats will end December 1, 2017.

Candidates must be resident voters within the district, according to Kern County Elections Office.

Interested persons must file a Declaration of Candidacy in person by Friday, Aug. 9 at the Elections Office at 1115 Truxtun Avenue,
Bakersfield, CA 93301.
