The Fort Tejon Historical Association  is inviting families to come enjoy a Civil War reenactment Sunday, June 16—especially for Father’s Day. Bring along a picnic lunch to enjoy under the spreading branches of ancient oak trees.

The Living History program interpreters will be there to take you back in time to life at the fort in the mid-19th century. On June 1, visitors from Santa Clarita, Tehachapi, Bakersfield and beyond enjoyed the first annual Victorian Tea Party in delicious style.

This is part of the June 14, 2013 online edition of The Mountain Enterprise.
