Friday, June 14 will be a breakthrough date for “something to do” on the mountain for teens, 12 through 18.
Two programs are beginning that day.
Our Mountain Teens will be meeting at the Frazier Mountain Park skate park from 12 noon to 6 p.m. You’ll find music and games and surprises. For details, call Nicole de Leeuw (‘Ms. D.’), a credentialed teacher working to create a drop-in teen center for mountain youth (661-245-5678).
Then, later, at 7-9:30 p.m. the Boys & Girls Club offers Game Night open to all 7th-12th graders at the Frazier Park School.
Both events are free.
This is part of the June 14, 2013 online edition of The Mountain Enterprise.
