LEBEC, CA (Monday, April 28, 2014 at 6:35 p.m.)—Timothy Largent was arrested on charges of possessing a stolen vehicle while the passenger could not be shown to be connected to the crime. The second vehicle was located but its occupants could not be shown to be connected with the theft of the sedan, according to Kern County Sheriff’s Sergeant Mark Brown. The stolen sedan is in the process of being returned to its owners.

LEBEC, CA (Monday, April 28, 2014 at 4:25 p.m.)—Two auto theft suspects were taken into custody on Lebec Road just south of Lebec Oaks Road after 4 p.m. According to Kern County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant Mark Brown, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officer noticed something odd about the vehicle at the Flying J truck stop in Lebec and made the traffic stop to investigate. Kern County Sheriff’s units and CHP units were called in for backup. The blue, convertible sedan was reported back to deputies as stolen. Additional suspects who were traveling in a black SUV that appeared to be traveling with the stolen sedan are currently being sought in the Lancer Way area of Los Padres Estates, according to Brown. “These two suspects are about to be interviewed while we’re looking for the other vehicle,” Brown said.
