It was a perfect day for a ride across mountain meadows through fields of wildflowers Saturday, May 8. Malibu contractor Michael Zacha finished the West Hills Hounds hunt club’s new kennels and a stable on 80 acres near Neenach just three months ago. The club was founded in 1942 and Ronald Reagan, Walt Disney and George Burns were once members. As they move from the San Fernando Valley to their new location near Avenue 280, they have thrown the club open to new members and attracted a delightfully eclectic mix for their opening wildflower trail ride. Michael Magloff is president of the club. Joint Masters of Foxhounds are Mitch Jacobs, Mike Zacha and Scott Tepper. Contact Mitch Jacobs (310-717-1447) and check www.westhillshunt.com for more information and upcoming events.
