UPDATE: Abbe Gore Makes it Into Contest Finals

Breaking News UPDATE: From Abbe Gore, Friday morning, June 24):
I just got word from Canon that my shot "Dousing the Flame"(Goal theme) has made it to the finals! So, the two shots will be put before Ron Howard for consideration to inspire his next film. These two shots are considered first place finishers and are now eligible for the grand prize. There will be eight grand prize winners. One for each theme, Setting, Time, Character, Mood, Relationship, Goal, Obstacle, and The Unknown. The images that are the final grand prize winners will be the inspiration for Ron Howard’s next film. I am so honored and excited to have been chosen twice in this competition!
