$300,000 for park improvements discussed at meeting

Kern County Supervisor Zack Scrivner’s field deputy, B.J. Saidi, invited 16 representatives of local organizations to a workshop on September 14 to explore possible expenditures for repairs and maintenance at Frazier Mountain Park. The organizations were those that use the park and community center, for example, Senior Sack, Commodities and Meals on Wheels use the Center on a weekly basis.

Saidi said that, unfortunately, Frazier Park did not receive a grant that had been applied for to restore the pond that our community cares so much about.
