PMC resident finds success with Netflix documentary

Charlie Chaplin once said, “Nothing quite like it. The feeling of film.” In California, the home of the film industry, that feeling has drawn countless dreamers to the state. Pine Mountain Club (PMC) resident Arron Kinser is no stranger to that feeling.

Kinser delved into filmmaking early in life. “Straight out of high school, I was making movies, short films, music videos… and I moved straight to California with the goal to work in film,” he recalled.
Leaving his home state of Ohio, Kinser came to Los Angeles in 2003 to chase his dream while living out of the back of a minivan. He picked up small jobs until…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
