$99,000 fine set for L.A. dumping in Lebec

The long saga that began with a funky smell reported by Nikki Albertson during her commute to work in Lebec has nearly reached its last chapter…but not quite yet.

A ruling has just been delivered from a hearing held March 27, 2015 in which the City of Los Angeles argued it should not be fined $895,500 by Kern County’s Agricultural Commissioner for illegally transporting and dumping quarantined green waste in Kern County.
