A steady stream of voters visited the polls June 7

Mountain voters took to the polls on Tuesday, June 7, to have their say on who will run in November’s state, U.S. and local elections.

In 2011, California’s Top Two Candidates Open Primary Act became effective, creating “voter-nominated” offices. Winners will run in the November election. The “voter-nominated” offices are state constitutional offices, state legislative offices, and U.S. congressional offices.
