Socially-distanced receptions return to the mountain

Art is alive and well on the mountain. A small but enthusiastic group of mountain residents gathered at Artworks in Pine Mountain Village on Saturday, Aug. 8, to admire the art by Drew Lesso of Frazier Park and Jo Varney (visiting from Sierra Madre).

Lesso’s work is based on “pareidolia”—seeing shapes in a sequence of different color rectangles—and was intriguing. Some people could even see the…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
