UPDATE-FRAZIER PARK, CA (Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 7 p.m.)—Susan Norland of Frazier Park reports that her land line telephone service from AT&T was also out for about 24 hours.This is from Norland:
“This was not just internet only.My land-line service was out for almost 24 hours.They said [there was] nothing they could do. Land-line ATT service routed via Wi Fi. Hate to be without phone service so long.Not sure of times but service went out 4/16 and was restored on 4/17.
“At first they said my modem was defective and needed to be replaced.
“Then they said they talked to a specialist who said modem was okay and there was a regional problem in the area.”
FRAZIER PARK, CA (Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 6:45 a.m.)—AT&T has not responded to requests for information about the outage.
FRAZIER PARK, CA (Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 7:20 p.m.)—Internet service from AT&T has been down since around 6 p.m. It is not clear how widespread the problem is. AT&T’s support line says “AT&T support teams are working toward a resolution.” CalNeva Broadband and Frazier Mountain Internet Service are not affected at this time.
