AT&T internet service interrupted for seven days in Lake of the Woods

Reported by Patric Hedlund, TME—On September 30 Tammy Slankard wrote a letter to the editor. It was a week in which it seemed there were a number of mishaps on the mountain regarding AT&T equipment and services. Slankard wrote:

I am one of those people who lost internet from AT&T in Lake of the Woods.

I am working from home due to medical conditions that make me high risk for covid-19. I am now put in the position of having to choose between income and my health. I have to pay rent, so the choice is income.

Despite the danger to my health, I now have to go into the office to work. I am a supervisor with Kern County’s Department of…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
