Kern County Counsel Charles Collins did not mince words in his opening thrust March 27 about the serious consequences of L.A. City Sanitation Department dumping massive amounts of green waste in Lebec in 2013.
A Kern County Agriculture Commissioner has levied a $895,000 fine against the city. The hearing in the Kern County Board of Supervisors’ chambers was for Los Angeles to protest that fine.
