Bears are on the move…toward your kitchen: PMC man—in his underwear—finds a bear inside his house

Pine Mountain resident Jack Bricker had unexpected company at about 1 o’clock on Sunday morning, July 17.

A large bear broke into his house and began helping itself to items in the pantry.

“This was a big bear with a brown snout, not a baby,” Bricker said Sunday afternoon.

“The back door was locked and it’s a sturdy, solid door. But the bear just smashed it open, breaking off one side of the door jamb,” he said.
