Big rig overturns at Quail Lake on Hwy 138

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 1:33 p.m.)—Eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 138 at Quail Lake remain closed, however traffic is being allowed to pass intermittently the scene along the eastbound shoulder, according to CHP. Expect delays.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 11:31 a.m.)—A big rig cement mixer truck has gone off Highway 138 and overturned at Quail Lake. Highway 138 was closed in both directions at 10:47 a.m. and is expected to remain closed for at least 8 hours.

“No injuries were reported,” said CHP Officer John Lutz.

The accident was reported just after 8:30 a.m.  Southern California Edison is on scene to shore up a power pole which was snapped during the crash.
