INCIDENT CLEARED–Big rig rollover blocks northbound I-5 traffic three miles north of El Tejon School

LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019 at 5:54 p.m.)— CHP trying to open number 3 lane.

LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019 at 4:10 p.m.)— Northbound I-5 traffic is backed up to Gorman at this time, according to CHP.

LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019 at 3:51 p.m.)— Three lanes are currently open, although CPH Officer Richard Anthes says there will be another hard closure soon to give crews a chance to load the big rig onto a towing rig. That operation will take “a few minutes,” according to Anthes.

LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019 at 2:35 p.m.)— Caltrans started a hard closure of all lanes at 2:25 p.m.

LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019 at 12:45 p.m.)— A big rig hauling dirt rolled over on northbound Interstate 5 at about 12 noon and is leaking fuel. The two slow lanes are closed.
