Big rig rolls over on southbound Interstate 5 near State Route 138

GORMAN, CA (Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019 at 10:44 a.m.)—California Department of Fish and Wildlife and Office of Emergency Services (OES) are en route.

GORMAN, CA (Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.)—The truck’s fuel tank has been ruptured. The truck’s cargo is 24,000 pounds of produce. The cab is reported to be completely destroyed.

GORMAN, CA (Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019 at 10:08 a.m.)—The truck is now reported to be in a ditch off the right shoulder, but not overturned. It is leaning on its side. The scene is on southbound I-5, one or two miles north of Smokey Bear Road.

GORMAN, CA (Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019 at 10:05 a.m.)—A big rig truck is reported to have rolled over on southbound I-5 at Highway 138 in Gorman. Los Angeles County Fire Department Engine 77 is on scene. Kern County Fire Department Engine 56 and Hall Ambulance Service are en route to assist.
