Talk about Snow Bunnies!
This fellow clearly crashed through the barricades and was determined to frolic through the white slushy snow that transformed the Mountain Communities on the first day of spring. Here is a first person report from our correspondent Don Eubank.
The Story of Bigfoot In Frazier Park
By Don Eubank and The Mountain Enterprise Investigative Reporting Team
There are many stories about the monster Sasquatch, aka Bigfoot—many people have seen him and then someone comes along says there is no such thing.
It was just a couple of years ago that someone saw him in the state of Georgia. Then the Governor denied that he was ever there, that he must be in California.
I was not sure whether to believe it or not. But now after this terrible winter snowstorm and snow being four to six feet deep, and seeing what I saw last Monday, I have a completely different opinion. I was going to keep it a family secret, but I guess I told too many of my friends and showed them the picture.
I was high up in the Cuddy Valley area early that Monday morning. I was sure glad I had my camera with me and was able to photograph Bigfoot/ Sasquatch. If I could have only gotten closer I would have offered him a cup of coffee.
So here is proof that he is still around and living in the Sasquatch caves up here in these mountains. This has been a well-kept secret and known only to a few of the Chumash Indians. I’m sure glad now that he was afraid of me and ran away real fast. The picture was taken somewhere in Cuddy Creek.
Now, everybody, have a happy April Fools’ Day.
Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is an ape-like creature said to inhabit forests, mainly in the Pacific Northwest region of North America. Bigfoot is described as a large, hairy, bipedal humanoid. The term “Sasquatch” is an anglicized derivative of the word “Sésquac” which means “wild man” in a Salish Native American language.
