FRAZIER PARK, CA (Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 5:10 p.m.)—Lake of the Woods Mutual Water Company announced on Wednesday that a BOIL WATER ORDER will take effect on Friday, May 3 to allow crews to connect the community to LOWMWC’s new water lines. The water company’s Pamela Jarecki told The Mountain Enterprise, “We are bringing all of our new lines online and connecting to the system.” The notice states that water shutdowns during the connection process will be “system-wide.” LOWMWC expects the “tie-ins” to be completed by May 30. Until the work is completed, the notice states, all Lake of the Woods water customers should boil their drinking water or use bottled water for drinking.
