CANCELATION of Boil Water Notice — Pinon Pines Mutual Water Company

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 2:10 p.m.)—The Boil Water Notice issued by Pinon Pines Mutual Water Company on Monday has been lifted. The broken water main has been repaired and the State Water Resources Control Board has determined that the water is safe to drink.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Monday, May 6, 2019 at 9:30 p.m.)—Pinon Pines Mutual Water Company issued the following Boil Water Notice after a water line break.

BOIL WATER NOTICE: Due to the recent mainline break which occurred on May 6, 2019, the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water, and the Pinon Pines Mutual Water Company Water System are advising residents of Pinetree Drive, Whispering Pines Road, Jay Court, and Leisure Lane to only use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes as a safety precaution to avoid stomach or intestinal illness. The affected area includes: Pinetree Drive, Whispering Pines Road, Jay Court, and Leisure Lane.

We will inform you when tests show that water is safe to drink and you no longer need to boil your water. We anticipate resolving the problem by Wednesday May 8, 2019. Please continue to take precautions that you normally take since the water supplied by Pinon Pines Mutual Water Company is in ongoing violation of the fluoride maximum contaminant level of 2.0 mg/L.
