Book launch celebrates International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day was celebrated last week with a book launch by Susan de Gaia, author (and Piñon Pines resident), followed by a drum circle. The Frazier Park Library hosted the party for the Central Michigan University Global Campus adjunct professor’s talk to introduce her impressive, two-volume Women in World Religions: Faith and Culture Across History. After the closing drum circle, de Gaia—as promised—served cake.
