FRAZIER PARK, CA (Monday, July 27, 2020 at 8:29 p.m.)—An air attack by three LA County FD helicopters, with fixed wing and rotor aircraft from CALFire has brought the ridge fire under control, according to LA County Fire Department’s public information office.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Monday, July 27, 2020 at 7:59 p.m.)—More than 300 acres have burned and at least one home was threatened by the blaze. Highway 138 is closed at Old Ridge Route Road, as firefighters work the fire on both sides of the highway, east of Quail Lake.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Monday, July 27, 2020 at 6:25 p.m.)—A hard closure for Gorman Post Road at Highway 138 was requested.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Monday, July 27, 2020 at 4:29 p.m.)—A SIG ALERT has been issued for Highway 138, which is closed a mile east and a mile west of Old Ridge Route Road.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Monday, July 27, 2020 at 4:20 p.m.)—A brush fire is burning up a hillside south of Highway 138 on Old Ridge Route Road. A man has refused to leave his home near the fire. L.A. County Fire has staged an engine next to the man’s home.
