LEBEC, CA (Friday, July 7, 2023 at 7:15 p.m.)—Lanes #1, #2 and #3 are open. Lane #4 will remain closed, according to CHP.

LEBEC, CA (Friday, July 7, 2023 at 4:38 p.m.)—CHP has set up a hard closure at northbound Fort Tejon Exit. All motorists should exit and find alternate routes if possible at eastbound Highway 138.

LEBEC, CA (Friday, July 7, 2023 at 3:50 p.m.)—CHP is preparing to route all northbound traffic east on Highway 138 in Gorman.

LEBEC, CA (Friday, July 7, 2023 at 2:37 p.m.)—Heavy smoke is affecting northbound traffic, according to CHP.

LEBEC, CA (Friday, July 7, 2023 at 2:23 p.m.)—A big rig fire burning on northbound Interstate 5 just north of Fort Tejon Road has now spread to the brush on Tejon Ranch and has burned approximately two acres east of the freeway. Lanes #3 and #4 are closed at this time.
