On December 27 at approximately 4:20 p.m., the LA County Fire Department (LACoFD) received a call about a major gas line rupture in Castaic. According to LACoFD Captain Brian Kight, a main gas transmission line was under 600 pounds of pressure, causing the line to rupture. “As you can imagine, that’s a lot of pressure for one little area,” said Kight…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
