Bonnie Ketterl Kane is Honorary Mayor, Lindsay Call is Honorary Sheriff

Fiesta Days is back this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 5-7, full of fun and foolishness.

The Grand Marshals of Fiesta Days 2022 will be John Cavey Sr., his daughter Elizabeth Cavey-Abshire and son-in-law Aaron Abshire.

John Cavey Sr. has been deeply involved in the community for more than 30 years and is being recognized for that service this weekend.

His daughter, Liz and her husband, Aaron, have recently returned to the mountain and both have been very involved in the community as they take over management of the family business, Caveman Cavey’s Pizza.

The Caveys have constantly reached out to help this community in every way possible.

This year, the return of Southern Kern Search and Rescue’s (SAR) food trailer to Fiesta Days after it disappeared…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
