A century ago, three small mountain communities nestled along the Ridge Route were founded as outposts of mountain life and fresh air. On Saturday, June 21, 2025, those communities came together under sunny skies and blustery winds to celebrate 100 years of shared history with good company to reflect on a century of growth, resilience, and community spirit in Frazier Park, Lake of the Woods, and Lockwood Valley.
The centennial event, held at Frazier Mountain Park, brought together longtime locals, new families, and generations of visitors to honor the past and look ahead to the future. The park buzzed with laughter, history lessons, blessings, hot dogs, a petting zoo, classic cars, and a profound sense of local pride.
