Centennial wins final approval from L.A. County for 19,333 homes

Hurdles still ahead, but all four Tejon Ranch developments set to move forward — 35,000 new homes on horizon

The Centennial Waltz is a traditional Irish tune often played by mountain people on a plaintive fiddle. It could be the theme song for the long, slow dance across decades that Tejon Ranch Company has endured with its partners—including the politicians, planners, bureaucrats, investors, conservation groups, alarmed scientists and cantankerous neighbors in the Mountain Community.

On Tuesday, April 30, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors said the long first stage of this party is over. They voted 4-1 on a consent agenda to finalize…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
