The first snow of the season hit the mountain communities on Sunday and Monday, January 26 and 27. As expected, with snow come the “Snow Bunnies,” off the hill visitors who come to see and play in the snow. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) had a plan in place to keep the roads safe for residents and visitors alike.
CHP Officer Mike Karr orchestrated the plan for how snow play will be handled, and said the plan went well for the first snow of the season. …(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
