Coalition of local groups seek ‘Broadband For All’ grant

More than 45 local, county and state agencies, non-profit organizations and local private businesses have joined forces as collaborative partners to bring a portion of California’s six-billion-dollar “Broadband For All” funding to our Mountain Communities.

The goal, according to San Joaquin Valley Regional Broadband Consortium manager Frank Gornick, PhD, is to bring reliable 100 Mbps (megabits per second) internet service to rural areas like ours for approximately $50 per month.
