10th Annual Tour de Los Padres started and finished in Cuddy Valley

Thirty mountain bikers launched on Thursday, April 20, from Cuddy Valley for the 10th Annual Tour de Los Padres (TDLP) run.

Organizer Erin Carroll said the tour, in years past, had often run a linear course from a start point to a distant finishing point. Some years had started in Frazier Park either at Big John’s or the motel and ending somewhere out of the area, such as Santa Barbara.

Carroll said the course is 65-70% dirt trails with the remainder on paved roads.

“This year, we’re doing a loop due to the storm damage,” he said.
