COMMENTARY: OMG! It’s Henry Mayo Hospital calling…is everyone OK?

What does anyone think when the phone rings and Caller-ID says it’s a local hospital calling?

Parents with teenage drivers in the family, or couples with a spouse driving home from work may immediately feel worried that something terrible has happened.

On May 21 at 8:03 a.m., my phone rang showing a Caller-ID of “HENRY MAYO NEWH”.

The rush of thoughts and emotions was astounding. So was the voice on the other end of the line:
