LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 8:36 p.m.)—CHP is running traffic breaks from Grapevine up the hill.

LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 8:21 p.m.)—A yellow Corvette, reported to be traveling at high speeds, collided with a big right on southbound I-5 and burst into flames, according to CHP. The solo occupant of the Corvette was able to exit the vehicle. The status of the big rig driver has not been reported. The Corvette was “fully engulfed” in flames and was a total loss, according to CHP. The southbound side of Interstate 5 may need to be shut down.
