Dave “da Handyman” Giniewicz started the tradition of the Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Barbecue in Frazier Mountain Park in 2002 as a gift to young kids throughout the Mountain Communities. Dave’s life was dedicated to helping others, including his unwavering support of the Boys & Girls Club through his Name Your Price Thrift Store.

Since Dave’s passing in 2012, Operation Reach FP and a group of hard-working volunteers have continued the annual Easter egg hunt event. Hundreds of people participated this year. — Gary Meyer, TME
