Denny’s crew offers refuge and kindness

Stephanie Patty, general manager of the Denny’s just north of the Valero gas station in Lebec, made a quick decision early Monday morning to close the restaurant so she and her team could warm, comfort and feed the 36 traumatized people from the bus.
