Election Day: results, volunteers & first-time voters

Just like thousands of other small towns throughout the United States, mountain community residents cast their vote for the 2024 General Election on November 5.

Voters selected their choice for President of the United States and a number of state and locally-based elected officials. Residents also voted on ten different proposed California state laws.

As of the time this paper was printed, some races were settled while others were still in question…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
