ETUSD sends ‘Welcome Back’ note to parents

El Tejon Unified School District Superintendent Sara Haflich told ETUSD parents October 16 that students will begin in-person instruction two days a week, beginning Monday, Nov. 2: “We are excited to announce that the state has advanced Kern County into the Red Tier for opening further,” Haflich said.

•Students will be split into two groups. Group A will attend in-person classes on Monday and Wednesday. Group B will attend on Tuesday and Thursday.

•All students will continue to participate in distance learning the other three days of the week, through the Canvas platform.

•Students will be assigned to their groups during this week.
