The Frazier Mountain High School Falcons had a near-perfect homecoming celebration Friday, Sept. 27 against the Flintridge Prep Rebels.

The Falcon JV football team won Friday’s non-conference home game against Flintridge Prep by a score of 22-15.

In the varsity game, FMHS went into a giddy halftime with a 24-0 lead. In the second half, Flintridge took back some momentum, gaining 29 points against 12 more for the Falcons, who saw their lead drop to seven before time ran out on a 36-29 victory over Flintridge Prep (from La Cañada, Calif.).

Falcon JV is 2-2 and Falcon Varsity is 4-1 in preconference play.

Wideback Matt Regan (6) and Quarterback Thomas Nierhoff, (4) saw hot action in the 36-29 pre-league victory. Co-captain Weston Wells (3) had an injury in the second quarter, but returned to the game for an overall strong night. He was also crowned Falcon Homecoming King with Queen Nicole Thomason.
