Falcons Win Second Playoff Game After League—Thursday, Nov. 7 Is Next Home Match

UPDATE—LEBEC, CA (TUESDAY, Nov. 5, 2019 at 10 p.m.)—They did it again! Frazier Mountain High School’s Falcon volleyball team won their second playoff match Tuesday night with Hanford, 3-1. The Falcons won the  High Desert League Division 5 championship, and are now state playoffs.

The game on Thursday is at home at the FMHS gym, 6 p.m. Bring a cheering section to boost the Falcon Wave to make it all the way! [700 Falcon Way, in Lebec].

UPDATE—LEBEC, CA (WEDNESDAY, Oct. 30, 2019 at 10 p.m.)—The Frazier Mountain High School varsity volleyball team won by a score of 3-0 at Wednesday’s home playoff match against Robert F. Kennedy High School (Delano, CA). Their next meet will  be Tuesday, November 5 at the FMHS gym. If they win then, they play again on Thursday, Nov. 7.

These games are part of the 2019 Central Section CIF Les Schwab Girls Volleyball – Division 5 Girls Volleyball tournament.

LEBEC, CA (Monday, Oct. 28, 2019 at 5 p.m.)—The Frazier Mountain High School Falcon volleyball team has won the High Desert League championship. Their 11 wins and 1 loss in league play and 30-5 season make them No. 2 seed in Central Section playoffs.

That wins them a home game this Wednesday, Oct. 30. They will face Robert F. Kennedy High School of Delano.

“We hope the community will come out to support our girls in these playoff games,” Coach Sharon Lemburg said.

The playoffs games are single elimination.

“So if we lose, we are done.”

If they keep winning, they will have further home playoff games on November 5 and 7.

So come cheer on your Falcons!
