Fallingstar in Lebec is “dead” says TriCounty Watchdogs

UPDATE LEBEC, CA (Monday, Oct. 1, 2013 at 1 p.m.)—In a short announcement to members, TriCounty Watchdogs President Jan de Leeuw wrote this afternoon that Frank Arciero, Jr.’s Fallingstar Homes project, known as Frazier Park Estates (but located in Lebec) “is dead.” The Mountain Enterprise is seeking to confirm this comment.

De Leeuw reported that Babak Naficy, the group’s lawyer, said the land has been sold. He told members that the lawsuit waged by the Watchdogs (alleging, among other things, that there was inadequate proof of sufficient water to support the thousands of new residents that could result from 500-700 new homes) was a success.
