Friendly fun and tasty adventures are in store at Pine Mountain’s Wine in the Pines, Saturday, June 12, 12-4 p.m.
The Wine in the Pines festival promises to be a dazzling event Saturday, June 12. Organizers promise over 40 wineries, gourmet chefs, a ‘wine art’ display, a wine auction and live music. Promotional materials mention something new this year: microbrewery beers and ales.
The Pine Mountain Village event is from noon to 4 p.m. Tickets at the website are $45 (www.wineinthepines.com) until noon on Thursday, June 11; tickets are $60 at the door.
Included with your ticket are samples of gourmet cuisine from Chef Rick’s creole specialties (from Santa Maria); Chef Troy Tolbert from the San Luis Obispo Country Club; The Hitching Post of Casmalia; Testa’s Bistro from Santa Maria’s Back Street Deli; Cafe Med of Bakersfield; Trattoria Uliveto from New Orcutt; Tifa Cholcolate and Gelato from Agoura Hills and Pine Mountain Pizza Company. The Santa Maria Brewing Company will pour samples of their craft-brewed beers and ales.
