The Lake Fire burning on the Angeles National Forest near Lake Hughes was at 26,213 acres with 36% containment Wednesday night. Twelve homes were destroyed and 4,570 structures were still threatened.

This was Tuesday, Aug. 18 around 6:30 p.m. on Lockwood Valley Road west of Boy Scout Camp Road. Ventura County Sheriffs had the road blocked off.
