NEENACH, CALIFORNIA (Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 at 11:15 a.m.)–Photographer Jeff Zimmerman sent these photos of "a five acre wildfire [which] was stopped along Munz Ranch road and Lancaster road [on Tuesday afternoon] in triple digit temperatures and strong winds. No structures were damaged. Fire Crews from Lancaster and Lake Hughes responded and contained the fire in about 45 minutes. It shows the need for adequate brush clearance around homes in the Antelope Valley and mountain regions of Los Angeles County."
