Pine Mountain Club, CA (Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 10 a.m.)— A helicopter survey north of San Emigdio Canyon has been completed and concern about possible smoke north of the Pine Mountain community, near Wind Wolves, has been attributed to possible home wood stove smoke, campers on Wind Wolves and an inversion layer.

Kern County Fire Engine 58 was staged at Ward Drive at the top of the ‘S’ curves. They called for a helicopter survey. It appears there is no fire.
