FRAZIER PARK, CA (Monday, Sept. 11, 2023 at 8:02 a.m.)—Kern County’s Emergency Communications Center announced this morning over its radio system that all flags are to be held at half staff to remember those who died on this date 22 years ago in the terrorist attacks on New York, Washington DC and Pennsylvania. Today, in Cuddy Valley, the annual 9/11 Ride to Remember will take place, departing at 3 p.m. across from the Pinon Pines entrance. You can walk, ride a horse or other animal, ride in a cart or other means of transport.
