A ‘Flight of the Valentines’ coordinated by Kern County Animal Services (KCAS)saved the lives of over 200 puppies and dogs this week.
The first flight took place on Tuesday, Feb. 3. KCAS worked with Marley’s Mutts, Unity Thrift of Taft Rescue and Wings of Rescue to send 115 animals to Washington state, where new homes awaited all of the dogs on the flight. They were flown by…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
